LIIAR - Audience

Investigating the target audience of Q magazine, I found it was a more sophisticated publication than most others in competition, for example NME. Q's target audience ranges from 16+ - rather than the 16-22 region that NME focuses on. Both tend to lean towards the male gender, although it would be fair to say the band's featured's music's target audience is the reason for this. The Rock 'n' Roll and Indie genre's fans are the main targets with regards to musical taste - although limited coverage is given to alternative genre's on occasions.
